We utilised a slingshot technique, typically employed in tree surgery, to overcome the access challenges. A weighted bag and line were carefully launched over the timber beams approximately 20 meters above ground level. This line was then used to pull through working ropes, which were secured and integrated into a counterbalance weight system. This innovative approach allowed safe and precise access to the sound sphere without impacting the integrity of the building or interfering with the church’s daily operations.
